Rail Fastening Systems for Railway Track
We manufacture rail fastening components and complete fastening assemblies for railway, metro, heavy-haul, industrial and special track applications. Production can be based on customer drawings, existing parts, technical specifications or complete fastening assemblies for new track, renewal and replacement requirements.
Our range includes elastic rail clips, rail screws, bolts, shoulders, rail pads, insulators, plates and other fastening components. Production can be based on approved drawings, technical specifications, existing components or complete fastening assemblies, depending on the project requirement.
Rail Fastening Systems by Track Structure
Concrete Sleeper Fastening
Elastic clips, shoulders, screws, rail pads and insulators for fastening rail to concrete sleepers, with component dimensions and interfaces defined by the required fastening configuration.
01
Timber Sleeper Fastening
Rail screws, spikes, plates and associated fastening components for timber-supported track.
02
Steel Sleeper Fastening
Fastening arrangements manufactured around the fixing geometry and rail interface of steel sleepers.
03
Ballastless & Direct-Fixation Track
Components for slab and other ballastless track structures where rail restraint, support, electrical isolation and installation geometry are controlled by the fastening system.
04
Turnouts & Special Trackwork
Drawing-based fastening components for applications where standard configurations do not provide the required geometry or interface.
05
Rail Fastening Components
A complete fastening system may combine several components, each with a defined function within the rail-to-support interface.
Elastic Rail Clips
Spring fastening elements designed to provide the specified clamping force and elastic restraint.
Rail Screws & Spikes
Mechanical fixing elements used to secure fastening components to sleepers or supporting structures.
Rail Shoulders & Inserts
Components that locate the fastening element and establish the required position of the rail clip or fixing hardware.
Rail Pads
Resilient interface components installed beneath the rail according to the specified fastening and track design.
Insulators
Electrical and mechanical interface components used where rail isolation and controlled component positioning are required.
Rail Bolts & Nuts
Fastening hardware for rail joints, plates, special trackwork and other specified applications.
Base Plates & Tie Plates
Steel interface plates used between the rail and supporting structure where required by the track design.
Complete Fastening Assemblies
Matched combinations of clips, screws, shoulders, pads, insulators and associated hardware supplied according to an agreed fastening configuration.

We manufacture individual rail fastening components and complete assemblies from customer drawings, existing parts or established product references.
Customer Drawings
Approved drawings provide the basis for dimensions, tolerances, material grades, heat treatment, surface treatment and inspection requirements.
Existing Samples
Physical components can be reviewed when original drawings are unavailable, helping establish dimensions, interfaces and manufacturing requirements.
Part References
Existing part numbers or component references can be used to identify the required component and establish the relevant manufacturing information.
Complete Assemblies
Where an individual component cannot be evaluated separately, the surrounding fastening assembly can be reviewed to understand its interfaces and installation relationship.
Rail Fastening Manufacturing
Forming, Forging & Machining
Forging, forming, bending, machining and threading are applied according to component design. Critical dimensions are controlled where they affect installation, assembly fit or interchangeability.
Heat Treatment
For elastic and other heat-treated components, heat treatment is controlled according to the applicable material and product specification. Hardness and other specified mechanical characteristics are inspected where required.
Surface Treatment
Coating and corrosion protection are selected according to the component material, operating environment and project specification.
Dimensional Control
Critical dimensions are checked against approved drawings or established manufacturing references, with particular attention to interfaces that affect the complete fastening assembly.
The required fastening performance depends on the rail profile, support structure, loading conditions and specified fastening configuration.
Depending on the system, requirements may include:
• Clamping force
• Longitudinal rail restraint
• Lateral rail restraint
• Vertical stiffness
• Repeated loading performance
• Electrical resistance
• Corrosion protection

Inspection & Testing
Inspection is organized around the approved drawing, product specification and project requirements.
Material Inspection
Material identification and specified material requirements are checked before production.
Process & Dimensional Inspection
Critical dimensions and relevant production characteristics are checked during manufacturing and against the approved reference.
Heat Treatment Inspection
Hardness and other specified characteristics are verified for components requiring controlled heat treatment.
Surface Treatment Inspection
Specified coating and surface conditions are checked against the applicable requirement.
Performance Testing
Where required, testing may cover clamping force, rail restraint, stiffness, repeated loading, electrical resistance or other defined performance characteristics.

Applicable Standards & Specifications
Rail fastening requirements vary between track structures, regions and infrastructure owners. The applicable standard and acceptance criteria are therefore confirmed according to the fastening system and project specification.
Requirements may reference:
EN 13481 Series — Rail fastening system requirements for specified track applications.
EN 13146 Series — Test methods used for evaluating rail fastening characteristics.
AREMA Requirements — Applied where specified for North American railway projects.

For railway maintenance and repeat orders, reproducing the approved specification consistently is often as important as producing the initial batch.
Repeat production can be controlled against the established:
Drawing → Material Specification → Critical Tolerances → Treatment Requirements → Inspection Criteria
Depending on the agreed requirements, production and inspection information can also be linked to:
• Part number
• Production batch
• Material batch
• Customer PO
• Project reference
• Product identification
Technical Documentation
Depending on the agreed specification, the supply documentation package may include:
• Material certificates
• Dimensional inspection records
• Mechanical test reports
• Performance test reports
• Certificate of conformity
• Batch identification records
• Packing lists
